I currently holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dramatic Arts from California State University, Sacramento and a Lifetime Community College Theatre Arts Teaching Credential.

The National Black Theatre Festival

is held biennially in the City of the Arts, Winston-Salem, NC. The festival was founded by Larry Leon Hamlin in 1989 and has attracted more than 500,000 tourist to the city since it was established. Black Theatre is for EVERYONE!. http://www.nbtf.org/.


Mike Gives Back

Michael has directed several plays addressing community health issues in conjunction with the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission and Mutual Assistance Network for several years.



  • He has had the opportunity to teach and direct Chrystale Wilson (actress in Players Club who played the role of “Ronnie”), and he also directed renowned actor Hal Williams in the play “Entrepreneurs” by Kathryn L. Webster at the Black Theatre Festival in 1999.
